A New Book on Afghanistan's History
Help The Afghan Children is pleased to announce having received a generous donation of 100 copies of a new book by former " irector of the UNHCR office in Peshawar, Pakistan, Mr. Angelo Rasanayagam, titled Afghanistan: A Modern History. The book on Afghanistan history takes one on an incredible journey from its position in the 19th Century as part of what's come to be known as "The Great Game," to its current geo-political importance in the world today.
